5 shows to watch on Netflix after Crazy Delicious
Have you jumped on the Crazy Delicious bandwagon over on Netflix? Have you watched the entire first season and decided it’s time to find something to watch next? Have no fear as there are plenty of options to choose from on Netflix alone.
And while there are a lot of unique shows on Netflix, we have picked five cooking and baking shows that feel like the perfect follow up to Crazy Delicious and the magic that it brought to our screens. With personalities such as Carla Hall and Jayde Adams helping to bring unique baking creations to our screens in every episode (Hall as a judge and Adams as host), you might feel like it would be hard to find a worthy follow up. However, we think these five shows give us just the right blend of whimsy and competition to act as your next binge watch.
Whether it is cooking or baking, these five shows are definitely worth binge watching next. And if you’ve already seen them, there is nothing that says you can’t binge them again!
5 Netflix cooking and baking shows to watch after Crazy Delicious
5. The Big Family Cooking Showdown
Short Sell: Honestly, when it comes to epic cooking and baking competitions on Netflix, we are hooked on everything U.K. related. And much like Crazy Delicious, The Big Family Cooking Showdown is another British cooking show that gives us an epic showdown of home cooks. This time though, we are making it a family affair.
Originally a BBC series, this cooking competition delivers passionate families who are clearly as devoted to food as we are, making us root for every single team on the show.
Netflix description:
"In this unscripted series, families passionate about food serve up their most delicious dishes for the chance to be crowned Britain’s best home cooks."

4. The Great British Baking Show
Short Sell: If you are anything like me, then you are probably just as obsessed with The Great British Baking Show. Even if you have already binge watched every single episode, including the holiday competitions and the Master Class episodes on Netflix, once you finish watching Crazy Delicious, you are going to want to go back and watch every competition over again.
This might just be my favorite comfort watch on Netflix and that has a lot to do with just how impressive these bakers are. They may be home bakers, but they are beyond talented. And watching them learn and grow over the course of the competition is truly beautiful. The fact that there is plenty of humor to go along with the baking is perhaps what makes The Great British Baking Show an absolute delight.
Netflix description:
"A talented batch of amateur bakers face off in a 10-week competition, whipping up their best dishes in the hopes of being named the U.K.’s best."
3. Sugar Rush
Short Sell: When the clock is your enemy, the rush is on – the Sugar Rush that is. This series is all about baking the very best sweet treats, all while contending with a clock that continues to count down, even during judging. Think of this as the ultimate race against time, as you want to keep as much time for later rounds as possible, all while impressing the judges with your flavors and artistic talents.
You want to be the last team standing, but with the clock and your competitors against you, that is sometimes a hard proposition. This series is fun and stressful, with some epic creations and even a few unexpected fails.
Netflix description:
"Time’s the most important ingredient as teams race against the clock — and each other — to bake up the best-tasting sweets."

2. Zumbo’s Just Desserts
Short Sell: Adriano Zumbo knows how to create masterful desserts that are stunning and unique. And now he wants to challenge amateur cooks and bakers to take the skills they already possess and have them recreate some of his impressive designs.
Zumbo’s Just Desserts is what happens when you take shows like The Great British Baking Show and mash it up with Crazy Delicious and even Nailed It. And yet, every episode there is at least one baker who is able to live up to the whimsy and talent of Zumbo himself.
Netflix description:
"Renowned dessert wizard Adriano Zumbo puts skilled amateur cooks to the test in this tense competition with a $100,000 prize."
1. Nailed It
Short Sell: While Crazy Delicious has talented bakers create whimsical and tasty creations, Nailed It is the exact opposite! Seriously, these home bakers are not nearly as talented with their creations and in this series, that is part of the fun. After all, we want to see their fails more than their wins.
Nailed It wants these bakers to create epic masterpieces that are both edible and as close to the original as possible. Too bad the likelihood of both of those things happening together is actually pretty low. Honestly, we are obsessed with the mess these bakers create in the name of fun and the chance to walk away with $10,000.
Netflix description:
"Home bakers with a terrible track record take a crack at re-creating edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize. It’s part reality contest, part hot mess."
With plenty of baking and cooking shows to choose from on Netflix right now, we think now is the perfect time to binge watch Crazy Delicious, Nailed It, and more. After all, these shows aren’t just delicious, they are a lot of fun too.
