With Fall coming up quick, let’s look at the top 5 fall drinks at Starbucks to get us all ready!
I think it’s pretty safe to say that come end of September roughly, Starbucks is the place to go to for any sort of drink that is related to some of our favorite and classic fall flavors. Whether it be pumpkin, cinnamon, or any other fall flavor that you can think of, chances are Starbucks has some sort of drink based around it (and yes, we love that)!
In my eyes, autumn time at the ever so popular coffee joint is probably one of it’s most popular times to sell, right up there with the holiday/Christmas time frames (Winter) as well. Fall is the perfect time to shift from refreshing summer flavors into more calming and minty tastes.
Fall time at Starbucks is literally the best, so be ready for deliciousness ahead!
In the coming few slides, in no particular order, we will be discussing all things fall, and what makes each of these drinks so special. We’ll also be diving into some of the most popular drinks sold at Starbucks during the Fall time and seeing how they compare to our list of the personal best as well.
Basically, all in all, if you can think of it, Starbucks probably has it, and thank God because we just love our Starbucks! If you agree (or disagree for that matter) with our list, then be sure to drop us a comment down below! We’d love to chat with all of you! Let’s go!

Fall means caramel apples and Starbucks definitely doesn’t disappoint there
1. Caramel Apple Spice
This particular drink goes out to all of the non-coffee drinkers or likers out there because there’s zero coffee in this drink (zero caffeine too if you’re concerned about that as well). This is also the perfect drink to be able to get your kids who don’t quite drink coffee yet, but still want to participate in Starbucks runs (who doesn’t).
Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:
- Steamed Apple Juice
- Cinnamon Syrup
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce Drizzle
A super cool fun fact about this drink in particular is that it’s one of the festive Fall drinks that can actually be ordered all year round. Starbucks almost always has their apple juice on hand, along with the cinnamon syrup, whipped cream, and caramel.
Whether you like coffee or not, this drink will surely satisfy that warm drink feeling that you’re just so simply craving on any cold (or hot too) day that you could ever truly imagine.
This drink is just absolutely perfect for me. Although I’m a coffee freak, this drink is just the perfect little warm-up on a cold Fall day! If you’ve tried it, let me know if you agree with me down below!

Fall at Starbucks can’t be discussed without a mention of PSL’s…so, here we go!
2. Pumpkin Spice Latte
For a little fun fact here, this super classic and cult favorite Starbucks drink has been around since 2003. PSL’s, as they’re so commonly referred to as, is Starbucks number one selling seasonal drink; in fact, in previous years, and taking a rough average of other previous year(s) as well, Starbucks sells somewhere around 424 million worldwide. Wow.
There’s not a whole lot to say about this drink, because in my opinion, it tastes like pumpkin pie in a cup with a tiny bit of espresso coffee added into it.
Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:
- Signature Espresso & Steamed Milk
- Flavor Combo: Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cloves
- Whipped Cream
- Pumpkin Pie Spices Dusted on Top
While that may sound like a lot of flavors all at once, trust me, it doesn’t taste like they all clash in your mouth because it just works, if you know what I’m trying to say here.
And forget about all of the other versions of this drink: iced, frappe-style. Just absolutely not. If you’re going to order something pumpkin-spice related, order a classic hot PSL and just forget about the rest because it’s not worth it (especially if you’re trying a PSL for the first time, then 100% try it hot or you’ll be thoroughly disappointed and upset that you didn’t).
What do you think of PSL’s and what’s your favorite way to drink them? Let us know!

This Fall drink at Starbucks is perfect if you like a tiny bit of sweet in your java!
3. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
This Fall-inspired drink at Starbucks is relatively new because it was just first introduced in last year’s Fall menu, and let me tell you, it’s good.
Basically, if you love the taste of pumpkin in your coffee drinks, but don’t like it too overpowering or sweet, then this will definitely be the drink for you, and here’s why. The cold foam on top of the deliciously smooth iced coffee has the perfect amount of sweetness and java tastes in each and every sip for the most perfect of any and all Fall coffee combinations.
Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:
- Starbucks’ Nitro Cold Brew (the absolute best of the two if you ask me personally)
- Vanilla Syrup (skinny available)
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam
- Pumpkin Spice Topping
Now, fair warning here, the first sip will be the best because you get a mouthful of the sweet and delicious pumpkin cream, followed by the most delicious combo taste of coffee.
However, if you don’t like the sweetness to simmer down with each sip that goes on and down, then maybe this drink won’t be for you. If you try it and want it to be sweeter, then maybe try either (or both, we don’t just, especially when it’s anything Starbucks related) of the following: adding in some more vanilla syrup, or adding in a pump or two of the pumpkin spice flavoring syrup!
Let us know what you thought of this, or if you’re super excited to try it come Fall time!

If you like super sweet Fall drinks, then for sure count on Starbucks for this one!
4. Salted Caramel Mocha
This drink, much like the Pumpkin Spice Latte, has been around for ages, first being introduced to the Starbucks menus all the way back sometime near whenever the PSL’s first came out (don’t have an exact year, our apologies).
This is something that could probably be ordered all year round; however, like all of the other seasonal inspired drinks that can be ordered anytime and all the time, it’s just not the same drinking it any other time of the year. Especially since this particular flavor variety comes in a hot chocolate (much like a bunch of other hot drinks on their menus as well).
Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:
- Signature Coffee & Steamed Milk
- Mocha Sauce & Toffee Nut Syrup (for flavoring the drink)
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce & Turbinado Sugar Topping(s)
Basically, in my personal opinion, this drink barely resembles any sort of coffee or coffee-related taste, so that being said, if you don’t like the taste of coffee, but still need or want some caffeine, then this drink might be your new Fall favorite at hand here as well!
Let us know down below the last time you had one of these, what you thought/your rating of it, and if you’d order it again because we’re curious and would totally love to know too!

Sure, this Starbucks drink is always available, but drinking it in Fall is the best!
5. Chai Tea Latte
Yep, this is yet another Fall flavor inspired drink that can be ordered year-round and we totally love that about this! In my personal opinion, Chai is definitely not one of my favorite flavors especially in a drink, but this drink I like.
Chai tea is not one of my most favorite drink flavors as I had just mentioned; however, putting it into some milk and making a delicious tea/milk latte with it makes it just that much better. I’ve tried it both ways, hot and iced, and I’ve gotta say that the iced version is much better (yes, even in the cold Fall and/or Winter months as well, but still perfect for hotter Spring and Summer weather days too).
Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:
- Black Tea w/ Cinnamon, Clove, and Warming Spices Infusion(s)
- Steamed Milk & Foam Topping(s)
In my personal opinion, it feels more festive to drink this particular Starbucks creation hot in the Fall seasonal times. However, drinking its iced companion in the warmer Spring and Summer months just makes you feel super nostalgic and missing the Fall season (and waiting up for it as well here).
With all of this being said, be sure that you’re dropping us comments in the boxes provided below and letting us know what your favorite Fall time drink at Starbucks is and how we did with our list here! Did we get it all or did we miss something?
