In a survey, over one thousand Americans voted for their all-time favorite cereal brand. Can you guess which made the top 3?

Best SEO Companies reached out recently with some fun facts. If you’re a fan of cereal (who isn’t?), you’ll love these cool facts and learning about America’s favorite cereal.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and one of your go-to breakfast meals is likely a big bowl of your favorite cereal.

From the top preferred brands to the most recognizable mascots, BSC shared some interesting information, based on the 1,000+ American’s that were surveyed. For example, did you know Fred Flinstone and Barney are the most recognizable mascots?

I would have guessed Tony the Tiger or Trix Rabbit would No. 1, but they are surprisingly No. 3 and No. 8, respectively. On the other hand, Tony the Tiger is the No. 1 most favorite cereal mascot, followed by Buzz the Bee and Cap’n Horatio Magellan Crunch.

The top 10 cereal brands

  1. Honey Nut Cheerios
  2. Frosted Flakes
  3. Raisin Bran
  4. Cap’n Crunch
  5. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
  6. Frosted Mini-Wheats
  7. Lucky Charms
  8. Rice Krispies
  9. Apple Jacks
  10. Froot Loops

I’m not too surprised that Honey Nut Cheerios is No. 1, while it’s not my favorite cereal brand, it is very popular. My first choice would be Frosted Flakes, I think it’s a timeless cereal, so I’m glad it lands at No. 2.

I am surprised to see Froot Loops so low on the list, I thought it was more popular with kids, but maybe it’s just millennials. Same for Lucky Charms. Either of these brands can trade places with Raisin Bran in my book!

The source shares that Bay Boomers prefer Raisin Bran, Honey Nut Cheerios, Rice Krispies, and Cookie Crisp, while Millenials picked Frosted Flakes, Cap’n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Apple Jacks, and Fruity Pebbles.

What do you think about the top 10 brands? Which is your favorite?
