Disney Springs, the carefully crafted dining and shopping destination, adds to its eclectic restaurant mix. Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres and Wine Bar George are highly anticipated openings.

Whether traveling to Orlando for theme park fun or a local looking for a great meal, Disney Springs is a top destination. The expertly planned dining and shopping destination on Disney property continually brings crowds. Disney announced Chef Jose Andres will bring Jaleo to Disney Springs.

Disney Springs offers an eclectic mix of restaurants. From elevated Mexican at Frontera Cocina to seafood-centric at Paddlefish, the dining options fit any and every palate. With so many choices, it could take over a week of constant eating to enjoy each and every restaurant.

According to Disney, highly acclaimed Chef Joes Andres will bring Jaleo to Disney Springs. This restaurant brand is known throughout the world. The Michelin Award winning concept has locations in Washington D.C., Bethesda, Mexico City, Las Vegas and Crystal City. It will be the only Florida location.

Jaleo is a Spanish forward restaurant. The ambiance and food reflect the diversity of Spanish cuisine. From traditional dishes to modern interpretations, Chef Andres has created a brand and a concept that embodies the Spanish culture.

Based on other locations, diners at the Disney Springs restaurant should expect Spanish favorites like paella. Other anticipated menu items include Jamon Iberico de Bellota, patatas bravas, and a wide selection of other tapas. While each location has similar menu items, some variations or specials may be in order.

The Chef Andres multi-level restaurant will offer several food options. A quick bite, grab and go option will sell Spanish style sandwiches. The other levels will offer a more traditional sit down option. The restaurant will be located on Disney Spring’s West Side.

Wine Bar George, Wolfgang Puck and The Edison coming soon.

In addition to Chef Andres’ restaurant, Disney Spring is adding several other new offerings. The eagerly anticipated Wine Bar George is slated to open this fall. Curated by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, Wine Bar George will feature more than 100 wines by the glass or bottle. Known as an expert in the wine industry, Miliotes sought to add wine education and special wine experiences to the restaurant concept. The long and varied wine list will be paired with small plates. With an approachable atmosphere, Wine Bar George will be a popular locale.

Other restaurants opening through 2018 include a new Wolfgang Puck concept, Chicago’s Top Chef Masters and James Beard Award winning Tony Mantuano’s Italian restaurant and a gothic inspired The Edison. While specific dates for each opening have yet to be announced, Disney Springs is poised to be a mecca for foodies. Nowhere else in Florida will hold as many James Beard award winners, Food Network star chefs and nationally recognized brands.
