Cancel your plans and find a Krispy Kreme Reese’s donut this Friday
It takes a lot for a novelty food to impress and entice these days, but the Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnuts do just that.
Quick: Google your nearest Krispy Kreme. Hopefully, it’s close? Walking distance? Driving distance? If not — you may not want to read on. The news is going to be pretty hard to swallow without the potential to make the ensuing dreams come true. Ready? Found your Krispy Kreme? Made peace with depression?
Okay. Starting Friday Aug. 4 and for a limited time, participating Krispy Kreme locations are offering a Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme Doughnut. With Reese’s Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with chocolate and peanut butter drizzles as well as as Mini Peanut Butter chips and peanuts, it sounds absolutely incredible.
All that goodness, for only $1.69. If you don’t buy more than one, you’re just doing it wrong. According to Jackie Woodward, Krispy Kreme’s CMO, “in partnering with The Hershey Company, we’re satisfying an intense desire that Krispy Kreme and Reese’s fans never knew they had.”
Touché, Jackie, touché.
In any case, now we do know and it’s going to be so hard to go back to a world in which Reese’s donuts are not a regular option.

The official Twitter accounts for Reese’s and Krispy Kreme have both been interacting with each other and fans, as brands are wont to do these days, as the news hit the web.

Krispy Kreme is actually pretty underrated in the specialty doughnut / donut game, associated as they are so clearly with their classic rings. In addition to the Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnut, the company is also offering a limited time Oreo Cookies and Kreme Doughnut, which is unglazed, filled with Oreo filling, dipped in dark chocolate icing and topped with more Oreo.
