Best time to order: For when you’re really, really hungry.
Why we love it: The Double Down at KFC was so popular when it came out, it was on the news and advertised as one of their most popular creations. But to several foodies, that simply wasn’t enough as they demanded more food. Well, even though this didn’t make it to the menu, KFC’s Triple Down is still widely known and waiting for you to order it. This sandwich is arguably big enough to share, but that would be a waste, wouldn’t it? Instead, be greedy and order it for yourself!
Just as it sounds, the Triple Down is essentially an extra piece of chicken and extra cheese. Just a heads up though, adding chicken and cheese reportedly cost you 1.5x the price of a Double Down. But, my friends, it’s so worth it. And in case you get a newbie at the counter who has yet to hear about the Triple Down, just kindly explain. You can also be daring and add other ingredients such as bacon. But that will likely cost extra.
