McDonald’s has announced it will make changes to its low-priced Dollar Menu, which includes items like coffee, small fries, hamburgers and apple pies. The new menu, dubbed the Dollar Menu and More, will offer some higher priced options such as the grilled Onion Cheddar Burger and a McChicken sandwich. Big Mac n’ Cheese
What is the secret? Essentially, a Big Mac with no patties.
Where can you order this? Any McDonald’s location.
Best time to order: Lunch or dinner.
Why we love it: Did you think we weren’t going to include any vegetarian options for our animal friends out there? Rest assured, we did not forget about you, and this is no boring option! The Big Mac n’ Cheese is the ultimate grill cheese sandwich (from a fast food joint, anyway).
There’s the Grilled Cheese burger (a McDonald’s burger with cheese only), and then there’s this — the Big Mac n’ Cheese! However, keep in mind there is a small catch! Because of its size, this sandwich is obviously not as cheap as the Grilled Cheese Burger.
To get this, all you have to do is ask for a Big Mac without the patties. The price is the same as a regular Big Mac, though you could ask the cashier about it. Sometimes, due to being a vegetarian option (so no patty) they may be able to price it lower. If they don’t lower the price, ask for extra cheese to substitute the meat and you’ve got yourself one tasty grill cheese.
Bonus tip: Ask for the Big Mac n’ Cheese to sit under the heat a bit longer so the cheese can truly melt!
