34. Sup Dogs — Greenville, NC

Let’s play a game.

Try to find a restaurant in Greenville, NC that will be open past 11 pm? Well, we have given you a headstart in Sup Dogs, which specifically caters to the students who occupy East Carolina University.

Sup Dogs has all of the ingredients of a great college-area eatery. Open late? Check. Serves up great hot dogs and fries? Check. Super cheap? Check.

Seems like Sup Dogs passes mustard. That’s a great thing because there isn’t a lot of places that will be open at 2:30 in the morning in this town surrounded by tobacco fields. Well, you do have Waffle House, which isn’t a bad option either.

33. Funk ‘n Waffles — Syracuse, NY

OK, the name may sound a bit weird, but then again, many who will stumble into this establishment may care less.

Frankly, you shouldn’t in your sober stage either, as, despite its odd name, Funk ‘n Waffles is the go-to place for many of Syracuse University’s party people to get their fill of great waffles.

Even if you’re not a waffle person, this place brings the funk when it comes to breakfast early in the morning. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, you name it, and Funk ‘n Waffles will snap you out of your drunk funk.
