25. Fuego’s Tortilla Grill — College Station, TX
Ask any Texas A&M student and they will swear by this place.
It’s almost a right of passage for any Aggie newcomer to have a drunken night at Fuego’s Tortilla Grill, a place that carries the mantle of Texas’ fantastic Tex-Mex with pride. OPen super late (3 am), there is no way your drunken self should miss out on the goodness of Fuego’s.
They make the cuisine the right way, not that chain mess that many in Mexican-deprived towns mistake for Mexican food. The tortillas are fresh, the ingredients are flavorful, and the food simply loves.
I’d even go out on the limb and say that Fuego’s Tortilla Grill is better than anything Austin serves up in this department.
Take that, Austin!
