7. The Dough– Eugene, OR

If you could ever combine great pizza and sugar cookies at one shop, it would be a glorious moment.

The Dough, in the middle of University of Oregon country, has done just that, and we almost want to shed a tear. Let’s start with the pizza, which is baked to perfection. Oh, and don’t leave out their calzones, which are equally as good.

Then, there are the sugar cookies.

Oh, my, Lord! How do you really describe the perfect concoction of sugar and dough that The Dough manages to get right every single time? It’s insanely good, which is why all drunk college kids in Eugene should make The Dough an after-party spot.

6. El Cometa — El Paso, TX

Being located on the border, El Paso, which is home to the University of Texas of El Paso, is home to a boatload of great Mexican restaurants.

So it’s pretty hard to pick from one of these great establishments, but we’re gonna take a stab here and go with El Cometa, an East Side joint that’s open pretty late to serve the drunk college kids (and locals) who head to that side of town’ plethora of bars.

The lines can sometimes (OK, all the time) be out the door, which speaks to the sheer goodness of El Cometa, and if you need your fix of late night Mexican cuisine in El Paso, El Cometa will make for a pretty solid option.

OK, the best option.
