38. Illegal Pete’s — Boulder, CO
In this day and age, it would be totally cool to eat at a place with the word “Illegal” in it.
For students at the University of Colorado and residents of Boulder, you will have the chance to do so at Illegal Pete’s. This Tex-Mex restaurant has become a staple for late night eating in this college town, with great Tex-Mex and Mexican cuisines that will be appealing to the drunk crowd.
As mentioned earlier, it would also be awesome to eat at a spot that may be on Presiden Donald Trump’s crap list.

37. The Burger Stand — Lawrence, KS
Lawrence, Kansas.
Home to the centerpiece of the 1983 anti-nuke film “The Day After,” and most famously home to the University of Kansas.
Lawrence has rebuilt since it was fictionally reduced to rubble those many moons ago, and Massachusetts Street is buzzing like never before with Jawhawks rooming the streets after a night of drinking for food.
How about a nice juicy burger at The Burger Stand, a place where the burgers and fries shine as bright as the nuke that fictionally leveled this town back in ’83. You can also grab some late night hot dogs and vegetarian options here, which is part of the reconstruction of Lawrence from a hawkeyed college town into one that can now play with the big boys.
