We’re kicking things off with an easy one. Everyone knows that McDonald’s Egg McMuffin is the one to go for when we want to start off the day with a low-calorie breakfast. So while it may not be the most popular choice (because it’s tough to resist McDonald’s calorie-packed breakfast!) it certainly one of the healthiest on the entire breakfast menu.
Make note, however, not to get the meal that includes a hash brown. Accompanying the Egg McMuffin with an oily hash brown will cancel out all the good the McMuffin did. Instead, have it alongside fruit or low-fat yogurt, this is only 300 calories after all so you can pick almost any side! And orange juice, of course.
