Marvel’s Daredevil – Subway

In the whole of modern television, there are few characters as busy as Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). In addition to holding down a career as a high-profile New York defense attorney, he also spends an inordinate amount of time fighting crime as the costumed vigilante Daredevil. And that’s not even mentioning his various romantic entanglements. As a big city dweller who is continuously pressed for time, it stands to reason that he has probably consumed a decent amount of fast food off-screen.

However, as someone who spends a lot of time in a tight-fitting leather costume, he can’t really have a lot of greasy burgers or pizza in his diet. When he needs to refuel after arguing a tough case or defeating several dozen ninjas in battle, he probably grapple-hooks his way over to Subway for healthy sandwiches.

If you want to emulate Daredevil’s diet, you should snag something from the chain’s Fresh Fit Choices menu. That means subs made with oven roasted chicken, turkey breast or a nice chicken teriyaki salad. On the other hand, if you want to indulge a bit, you could try a meatball marinara, chicken and bacon ranch melt, or steak and cheese sandwich. Pair it with an ice cold drink, a bag of chips and double chocolate cookie — the closest thing Subway offers to devil’s food.

With a quality sandwich and chosen sides on hand, you’ll be already to watch Matt defend Hell’s Kitchen from all those who would destroy it and also get into some sweet hall wall fights.
