As usual, I have had a look around the internet at some of the best recipes that you can try and I think I have found four very nice BBQ recipes that fit the bill.
1: Shrimp Burgers by health.com
It’s not all about the beef burgers and the hot dogs when it comes to the BBQ. You can mix things up and go for healthier white meat options, such as chicken, and you can even go for the fish option too.
These shrimp burgers by health.com are a great alternative. They are nice and simple to make as well and smell great when they are sizzling away on the BBQ.
2: Mushroom Swiss Burger by Love Grows Wild
Of course, if you really want to stay with traditional beef burger then this Mushroom Swiss Burger by Love Grows Wild may be the thing for you.
Using lean ground beef, plenty of tasty portabello mushrooms, herbs and spices. Its satisfying enough making the burgers from scratch but eating them is the ultimate high. (Ultimate high is a reference, you do not use magic mushrooms in this recipe.)
3: Barbecued Dry-Rubbed Chicken by Goldilocks Kitchen
Come on, you knew chicken would be somewhere on this list. This recipe by Goldilocks Kitchen will take a while to make but it will be worth it in the end. It is one of the easiest to make though. Its just a case of covering the chicken in all the dry rub. The problem, and the reason why you need to wait so long, is the chicken needs to marinate and soak up all that flavor properly.
However, if you can hold off long enough, this will be worth it. Just imagine the wonderful smell it will produce when it is grilling away on the BBQ.
4: Healthy Red Potato and Dill Salad by Table For Two
Every BBQ is going to need a side so why not try out this lovely Healthy Red Potato and Dill Salad from Table For Two. By far the easiest and quickest recipe to make on this list. The ingredients are very easy to come by and best of all, you can eat it while waiting for your shrimp burger, mushroom swiss burger and barbecued dry-rubbed chicken to cook.
