Watch the Royal Wedding with the perfect cucumber sandwiches
By Callum Gunn
How else would you enjoy the Royal Wedding at 4 a.m. without cucumber sandwiches? Of course, you need the perfect ones and BritBox is here to help.
BritBox is the streaming service that brings all the best British comedies and dramas. Well, now the service is helping you celebrate the Royal Wedding in style. What better way to start the day than with some traditional cucumber sandwiches? They’ll go perfectly with the Earl Grey tea, while you don your fascinator.
Before you even think about just slicing up some cucumber and serving it on bread, you need to get the perfect cucumber sandwich. This is where BritBox comes into play. It tweeted out a delicious spread that will go with your bread and cucumber, making the perfect batch of sandwiches. You’ll get that when you see the tweet below! I thought it was quite amusing.

Of course, the sandwiches must be served without the crusts. My pup is going to love this part because he knows he’ll get the crusts instead. While BritBox suggests cutting the sandwiches into squares, I’ll argue that there’s no other way than in triangles. That really is the British way. They stand out perfectly when served on a platter.

If you don’t like dill, you can make a substitution here. I suggest chives to work with the cream cheese. You’ll have cucumber sandwiches that all your friends will want to eat to celebrate the Royal Wedding.
