National Biscuit Day: What is the best biscuit?

It’s the day of the biscuit, May 29 is National Biscuit Day and to celebrate the day we are going to celebrate the very best biscuit.
Biscuits are by far, one of the nations, if not the worlds, favorite snacks. You will be hard pushed to find someone who doesn’t like a biscuit. However, what biscuit is the best biscuit of them all? That is what we are going to find out on this National Biscuit Day?
This is not something that can be easily answered. There are a number of factors that need to be taking into account. For example, do you have your biscuit with a cup of tea?

Thankfully, plenty of people have done relentless and detailed testing on the subject so hopefully, we can figure out which biscuit is the best of the best on this National Biscuit Day.
Which biscuit is the best of the best?
Wired, went all out on their best biscuit for dunking testing. They tested a total of ten different biscuits and really put them through the ringer with the use of physics and robots. Out of all their rigorous testing what they found the “McVitie’s Rich Tea” biscuit was the best of the best.
But, if you were to pop over to The Independent, they too ran an experiment on the best biscuit for dunking. They found a completely different set of results with the “Hob Nob” ranking first.

Yet if you were to take dunking out of the equation then you get completely different results. Metro ran a survey on 21 different biscuits, without dunking, and they came to the conclusion that the “Viennese Sandwich” was the best as it had the perfect balance of biscuit and chocolate.
So what is the best biscuit? Honestly? I have no idea. No matter what study you look at you will get a different answer each time. If you really want to find out what the best biscuit is on this National Biscuit Day, I recommend you do your own fieldwork testing by trying out as many biscuits as you can and deciding for yourself which is the best of the best.
