We’re inching closer and closer to National Donut Day 2018. It’s time to seriously think about where you’re getting your free donuts throughout the day.

Want a free donut or two for National Donut Day? Well, there are plenty of stores offering their holey goodness for free throughout the day. You’ll be able to grab plenty, celebrating the day (which has been a national day since 1938 by the way!) in complete style.

Some of these require a purchase. Others are going to be free with no strings attached. Are you ready to join in with the fun?

Free donut from Krispy Kreme

It’s all about the free donuts at Krispy Kreme. There’s absolutely no strings attached for this offer, except that you’ll only get one per customer. You don’t need to buy anything first, although it’s not clear how this is going to be policed. Guess we’ll have to find out on the day, but theoretically, you could go to multiple Krispy Kreme stores, right?

Dunkin’ Donuts donut and beverage

Get a beverage from Dunkin’ Donuts and you’ll get a free classic ring donuts. That’s definitely worth the consideration, especially if you’re going out to a coffee shop at some point tomorrow. There doesn’t appear to be a limit on the number of donuts per customers, possibly just linked to the purchase of the beverage. The great news is that it’s any beverage, so grab a small iced coffee to cool off and enjoy the classic goodness.

Free donut holes at Papa John’s

Make sure you place your order online for Papa John’s on Friday. You’ll get a batch of free donut holes for all purchases. There doesn’t appear to be any catches on the size of order, so grab the cheapest if you want to score your free donuts. Or make it dinner for the family and enjoy the donuts for dessert.

Not free but interesting

There are a few companies that haven’t opted for free donuts, but they are doing something for National Donut Day.

Winn-Dixie and BI-LO are both offering their donuts for half price throughout the day. Okay, it’s not free but something to consider if you don’t have any of the other places nearby.

Burger King is the final place on the list, but only if you live in New York, Salt Lake City, Miami, Boston, and LA. The company is offering its first flame-grilled donut. I’m not sure what to make of it and nowhere near a store offering it, but it could be something interesting.
