National Macaroon Day: 3 ways to make perfect macaroons

May 31 is National Macaroon Day. So why not celebrate the day by making your very own homemade macaroons.
If you ever needed an excuse to eat a Macaroon. Then National Macaroon Day is just that. Every year, come May 31, is the day of the macaroon. But, instead of just heading down to the shops to buy a box of them, why not try your hand at making your own.
There are lots of advantages to making your food after all. 90% of the time they are healthier than anything you can buy off the store shelve. You know what goes into them to start with. They usually taste better as well and it is tons of fun.

Last but not least, I have a chocolate macaroon recipe here for all of the chocolate lovers out there. But, it is not the chocolate that makes this one the best, it is the no baked part. Sorry if you are a lover of baking but I have always found that no-bake recipes mean less washing up, which is a big win.
