A new week is on the horizon which means new fast food events are just around the corner. Here is what is coming up next week in the fast food industry.

Last week was all about Shark Week, plenty of places where holding Shark themed events including the fast food industry. They weren’t selling shark food or anything, more like fast food events based on shark week.

Shark themed drinks were the main creations buzzing around, but there was even a shark-themed cake going on as well.

That wasn’t the only news going around. Wendy’s was offering 2-pc Chicken Tenders for free during National Chicken Tender Day and Krispy Kreme announced the deal of a lifetime to celebrate their 81st birthday.

But what is happening this week?

Well, we have got three major National Holidays coming up in the food and drink world, but they are all at the tail end of the week. We have:

Thursday, August 2:  National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

Friday, August 3: International Beer Day

Saturday, August 4: National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day

On both National Ice Cream Sandwich Day and National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day keep a watchful eye out on deals coming from your favourite fast food restaurant. Almost every one of them sells both ice-cream and cookies so it would not be a surprise if they opted to run a special promotion.

International Beer Day is a little bit different because not all fast food restaurants are allowed to sell beer. However, some of them are, Pizza Hut is one such establishment in select stores and Dunkin’ Donuts is going to be getting into the beer game as well.

However, your main places to keep an eye on during International Beer Day are local breweries and liquor stores and other places that might sell beer.
