Ferrero is offering you the chance to get paid to taste chocolate

Ah, the dream of getting paid to taste chocolate is finally coming true. Well, if you can speak Italian and are one of 20 lucky hopefuls.

Raise your hand if you dreamt about getting paid to taste chocolate? Most of us did as children at some point. We’d take the weight gain to have a seriously cushtie job, right? Well, now that job has opened up for real with Ferrero.

This is the brand known best for Ferrero Rocher truffles, but they also do Nutella, Tic Tacs, Kinder chocolate, and so much more! The current job posting will have you tasting all the types of chocolate the company makes, so you’ll need to be fine with eating nuts.

Oh, and another catch is you’ll need to move to Italy. This shouldn’t be a problem if you’re in the EU, although those in Britain may find it a bit difficult after Brexit. And those on this side of the Atlantic? Maybe you’ve got Italian blood somewhere or you can get a visa.

This job is only available in Alba, Italy. The job application is also in Italian, so I’m guessing you need to speak and read the language to apply. That completely makes sense!

Ferrero is looking for 60 applicants at first for a trial. After that, you’ll be whittled down to 20, who will get a part-time job as a chocolate taster. Don’t worry; every step of the training and job process is paid, even if you’re one of the unlucky 40 sent home after the first three months.

The lucky 20 will need to work two hours, two days a week. So, as long as you can work in Italy, you’ll be good to go sightseeing when you’re not working. Oh, and you only need to have computer skills and not have any allergies to apply.
