Kelsey Grammer’s dream of opening a brewery moves one step closer

A dream that has long been in the making, Kelsey Grammer’s brewery moves one step closer to becoming a reality.

Best known for his time on Frasier, Cheers and The Simpson’s, Kelsey Grammer may soon be known not only for his acting but for his brewery as well. A project the star has been dreaming about for years now, that dream is fast becoming a reality after procuring a license for Faith American Brewery with the New York State Liquor Authority, according to New York Up State.

The licensee acquired is not a brewery licensee, but it does allow the company to have their own beer breweries by a separate brewery. It’s a smart business decision to make, especially when starting out in the beer industry; having another brewery manufacture your beer while you concentrate on marketing and wholesale, then once established, you could move into brewing yourself. Essentially, if things were to go under, which most new businesses do in the first few years, you have less invested in the beginning.

Grammer has made it known about his dream for opening Faith American Brewery since 2016. Clearly eager to get things up and running, but not so eager to potentially go so fast that he could hinder the brewery. Grammer has had a few setbacks, which he explained in 2017, in getting the brewery off the ground.

It appears everything is now moving forward, however, and fingers crossed we will see Grammer produce fine quality craft beer. Although he does not have his own brewery, yet, and the license is for another to produce the beer, a beer does already exist.

Described as being a Belgian style ale with a crisp refreshing taste of a lager. It will be a great day when the beer is available to everyone.
