They’re officially here. White Chocolate Peanut M&M’s are officially on the market ready to be bought and devoured in their millions.

White Chocolate Peanut M&M’s were teased way back in May. It’s been a seriously long wait for them to arrive but finally, the wait is over. In the words of General Kenobi from Star Wars, “Why, hello there!”

They’re exactly as they sound, Peanut M&M’s, but instead of the usual milk chocolate, you have white chocolate instead. Arriving in stores over the weekend, you can pick up a single serve size bag, a share size bag, or one of the stand-up pouches. Or you can pick up a mixture of them all. No judgments here.

What is going to be interesting is how well received the candy treats are. White Chocolate is not the most popular treats among some people, in fact, some think it is downright horrific to eat something that in their eyes, has no business being called chocolate.

However, despite some negative views, companies are seeing the growing trend in demand for White Chocolate options, and whenever there is a market for something you can bet someone is about to come along and plug the gap.

It is not entirely clear if the White Chocolate Peanut M&M’s will be around for a limited time or are to become a permanent option. M&M’s might be waiting to see how well received they are amongst consumers before making a decision on that one.
