Wraps, Veggie Burgers and Subs

Similar to the salads, while it all looks very healthy from the offset, chances are it might not be. It is all going to depend on what goes into the sandwich.

Lot’s of salad dressing and sauces are going to knock it from healthy to unhealthy. Cheese is another big culprit. Usually found in the majority of wraps and sandwiches, cheese can swing the pendulum of health the wrong way as well if you have too much.

This is just another example of when you might need to possibly be awkward and ask for specific amounts of toppings, or removal of toppings. Most fast food chains will allow you this option, they might find it annoying but the option is there.

Unfortunately, with all of the items listed above, it doesn’t sound overly helpful. You either need to opt for something that you know is unhealthy, or choose something you think is healthy but is not, or ask for changes that make your meal rather bland.

But that comes with trying to be healthy, you can’t always get what you really want. Another good way to look at it is while it might not be as healthy as what you initially thought, it is still a healthier option than some of the other menu items that are available.

It’s all about perspective and being realistic.
