Reese’s Candy Exchange Vending Machine is saving Halloween
By Callum Gunn
Reese’s have saved the day, or more specifically Halloween, with their Candy Exchange Vending Machine as they rid you off your unwanted Halloween candy.
It’s happened to all of us. We’ve walked up, knocked on a door, given our very best “Trick or Treat,” only to receive candy that you wouldn’t even give your worst enemy. Well, maybe you would give it to them, but you certainly wouldn’t give it to your friend anyway. However, those days of horror are now over as Reese’s swoops in to save the day with their Candy Exchange Vending Machine.
Exactly as it sounds, the Reese’s Candy Exchange Vending Machine will exchange that unwanted candy that you desperately do not want, for the best candy on the planet, a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
First featured at the #1 Hudson Valley Halloween event of the year, the Tarrytown Annual Halloween Parade. The vending machines were on hand to exchange the unwanted candy, and they were a roaring success.

Reese’s are planning on keeping the vending machines around and are looking at setting them up in New York next. They plan on setting up a Candy Exchange Vending Machine in Manhattan on October 31st, where kids and adults will be able to trade in unwanted Halloween candy for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Fingers crossed the success and demand of the vending machines keep up and hopefully, we see them start to pop up all year round, and in more and more locations so that everyone can enjoy Reese’s. Because come on, we all want one.
