14. Doritos Locos Tacos — Taco Bell

OK, so these babies are not really a holiday menu item, but what would the season be without the best taco on their menu?

There are a lot of things I really can’t get into at Taco Bell, but tearing through a few of the Doritos Locos Tacos is sure to be a cure for the holiday blues. The shell is made out of a Doritos chip, and it’s filled with all of the processed meat, shredded cheese, and lettuce you can eat.

When Taco Bell first came out with the Doritos Locos Tacos, there was some skepticism about how a taco with a Doritos shell would mesh in the taste department. It has surpassed expectations and then some, and the taco has quickly won over the taste snobs of the fast food public to become a popular favorite.

So if you are battling holiday shopping traffic and need a taco to get a little pick-me-up, then the Doritos Locos Tacos are definitely for you. It is packed with flavor, and you will never look at a taco the same again.
