STAMFORD, CT – NOVEMBER 24: A Guatemalan immigrant carves the Thanksgiving turkey on November 24, 2016 in Stamford, Connecticut. Family and friends, some of them U.S. citizens, others on work visas and some undocumented immigrants came together in an apartment to celebrate the American holiday with turkey and Latin American dishes. They expressed concern with the results of the U.S. Presidential election of president-elect Donald Trump, some saying their U.S.-born children fear the possibilty their parents will be deported after Trump’s inauguration. 11. Fried Turkey — Bojangles

Bojangles is a southern chain, so not everyone is so blessed to have one of these restaurants close to them.

I know, it sucks, but, maybe FedEx could deliver one of their fried turkeys for the holidays to those who are in “Bo Deserts.” That’s right, this fast-food chain fries a whole turkey just for special order during the season; and when I say “whole turkey,” I mean just that, a whole freakin’ turkey.

What fast food place, national or regional, that will actually fry you a whole turkey for the holidays? Not a whole lot, and there is even an argument to be made that Bojangles is the only chain that does this. There are not many places outside of Denny’s or your neighborhood soul food restaurant that will advertise cooking a turkey for you, much less frying one. That’s why Bojangles should be in every state in America. It gives you the taste of the South, and it’s a glorious feeling, too.

Combine that golden brown fried turkey with their famous “fixins'” and sweet tea, and you will have a holiday meal that the entire family will enjoy after the gifts have been opened, and the family has stopped fighting.
