8. Holiday Turkey Melt — Denny’s

Turkey and the holidays are two things that vibe so well together, and it would be fitting enough for Denny’s to get in on this famed-connection to create a sandwich that will be irresistible.

Meet the Holiday Turkey Melt, which contains a carved turkey breast that is topped with stuffing, melted Swiss cheese, and cranberry honey mustard sauce. To bring the holiday home the sandwich sits in between grilled potato bread and is served with french fries.

Now, the sight of this melt may be a bit disturbing for some, but like my grandfather used to say, it all goes down the same way, so why not combine them to make one killer sandwich?

It was a glorious move by Denny’s to create the Holiday Turkey Melt, and, in the process, create a sandwich that will grace Denny’s menu every holiday for the foreseeable future.

We hope.

If you’re not the type of person that like’s their Holiday menu in sandwich form, then Denny’s will also have traditional dinners that will serve just as well, from turkey covered with gravy to stuffing that is just as good as your mother makes it.

OK, maybe I went a tad bit overboard there, but it’s still pretty good.
