18. Honey Butter Biscuits — Hardee’s

For those who have the unfortunate luck of not having a Hardee’s near you, let me extend my deepest sorrow to your situation.

Well, now that I’ve gone all sentimental, let me tell y’all about these Honey Butter Biscuits that hasn’t gotten as much advertising attention as their chicken tenders. Hardee’s has managed to combine their world-famous biscuits with the sweet taste of honey butter to create a biscuit that will blow your taste buds away.

A word on honey butter for a moment: It’s the best type of butter there is. The combination of the rich texture and sweet flavor just brings out the best in a bread, whether you’re putting it on a dinner roll, or a biscuit. Once you’ve gone honey butter, you won’t go back.

Sadly, I don’t think many know about this sweet, southern holiday goodness. As I mentioned earlier, I have yet to see an ad spot for the Honey Butter Biscuits; but I’ve sure been bombarded by the tender ads, and, as a side note, I’ve tried those tenders and, even though they’re OK, it’s not as good as those Honey Butter Biscuits.

You can get the biscuits in three kinds, and they’re always made hand-scratch and in the store. Hardee’s is a chain that doesn’t believe in frozen biscuits, thank God.
