Gingersnaps

While we are working with ginger, we may as well add the deliciousness that is gingersnaps to the list. These spicy, crisp cookies are winter perfection. Not only are they perfect for the holidays, but they are also a perfect flavor anytime it’s cold outside. And luckily, with this recipe, you get a perfect gingersnap cookie every time.

Pecan Roll-Ups

Almond Crescent Cookies

When it comes to cookies, I have plenty of favorites. And another one on that list is the Italian Almond Crescent Cookie. These melt in your mouth shortbread cookies are infused with almond flavor and dusted with powder sugar for a treat you will want all season long.

Italian Holiday Cookies (Strufoli)

Whether it is spelled Strufoli or Struffoli (yes I have seen it both ways and it is spelled with one ‘F’ in my grandmother’s cookbook), these cookies are an Italian tradition. And they are not just for Christmas, these are also good for any major holiday. These little balls covered in honey are a must in our home and even my dad (who isn’t a sweets person) loves them.
