What is it and what is it made of?
The Subway Ultimate Meatball Marinara sandwich consists of meatballs, covered in marina sauce, and cheesy garlic bread. The cheesy garlic bread is the ultimate edition, which is bread toasted with garlic butter, parmesan and mozzarella cheese which is melted until it is all gooey and stringy.
Why does it need to be removed?
The Meatball Marinara sandwich has been a stable Subway menu item for some time now. Ever since the very first Subway sandwich store opened it has been available for customers to order.
Now, unlike McDonald’s and their Big Mac, Subway has actually made an effort into upgrading and improving the Meatball Marinara sandwich, hence the introduction of the Subway Ultimate Meatball Marinara sandwich.
Unfortunately, you can’t really improve on a fast food menu item that was already terrible. Guaranteed to always leave you in a mess of some sorts. There is either way too much marina sauce, so much that the bread turns into mulch, or the meatballs come flying out as you try to eat it. Subway would have been better off trying to get rid of the Meatball Marinara sandwich, rather than trying to improve on it.
