Number 4. Jack in the Box Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack

Menu item: Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack

Fast food vendor: Jack in the Box

What is it and what is it made of?

Made with a ¼ lb. signature beef patty, topped with some melted garlic herb butter, smoked hickory bacon, Swiss cheese, and bacon mayo. It is all put together on a gourmet signature bun.

Why does it need to be removed?

The Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack burger by Jack in the Box just doesn’t live up to the hype that it is advertised as. Described as being a burger that will make other burgers whimper in fear, at best, the burger will make other burgers go, “oh look, someone is trying to be us, and failing!”

It does taste ok, don’t get me wrong. It’s a twist on any regular burger that you can get, but it doesn’t make you want to come running back for more. You eat it once and that is you. Will you go running back for more, ordering it again, and again? No, not really.

In fact, all the other burgers that are available at Jack in the Box are either on equal standing or are quite simply better. So not only is this a burger that doesn’t live up to the hype, there are better burger options out there as well.
