What is it and what is it made of?
Krispy Kreme has taken the classic Original Glazed Doughnut and simply added some chocolate icing over the top of it. Not completely covering it like the Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnut, just a drizzle of chocolate on the top.
Why does it need to be removed?
The Krispy Kreme Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut needs to go because it’s basically a very lazy doughnut. There are plenty of other options on the menu that you could choose other than this one. You have of course the classic Original Glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut for example.
And if it’s chocolate you want then the full Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnut is a much better option. Ok, yes, the full Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnut is not always around, but even when it is not, there are much better options like the Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut with Sprinkles and the chocolate creme-filled options as well.
Ultimately, the only reason you would choose the Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut over all other Krispy Kreme doughnuts is if there were no other options available for you. Making it a completely unnecessary option and one that needs to be removed.
