20 restaurants that will ruin your New Year’s Resolution

6. Leed’s Diner — Kansas City, MO
The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting a home game in the playoffs for the first time in 25 years, and whether the home team wins or loses, this place will be packed after the game.
Leed’s Diner, situated near Arrowhead Stadium, is a classic diner in a city full of them. Really, any diner in Kansas City could have earned a nod on this list, but Leed’s Diner has consistently great reviews, and a taste of their food tells why.
Leed’s Diner doesn’t do anything fancy. It serves the classic greasy food palate of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and fries. One thing that we’ll recommend is subbing the fries for the tater tots, which are simply a work of food art.
It’s a rarity that one can call tater tots from a no-frills greasy spoon a “work of food art,” but the tots at Leed’s Diner are simply that good. While we’ve spent time lauding the diner for their tots, one can’t ignore the other food items on their menu, which are also great, homey classics.
If you love biscuits and gravy, then you will love em’ at Leed’s Diner. The diner doesn’t skimp on the gravy, either. That chunky, white gravy completely covers the biscuits, and the plate as well.
In short, this would be a great place to celebrate a Chiefs win, or drown the sorrows of another long offseason.
