Skittles’ Super Bowl Commercial revealed and it’s being held on Broadway

Yes, you read that right. The Skittles’ Super Bowl Commercial has been confirmed and it’s being held on Broadway of all places.
The Super Bowl is a weird thing. It’s the biggest football game on the planet, potentially the world, and the vast majority of people don’t watch for the game but for the commercials. Most people watch for the commercials, then the game, and then it’s the half time show. The Skittles’ Super Bowl Commercial has been confirmed and you’re honestly not going to believe what they have planned.
Because Skittles’, a candy company, is heading to Broadway. Yes, that’s right. A candy company is heading to one of the biggest stages in the world.

Skittles’ announced they would be airing a commercial during the Super Bowl, but not using Super Bowl air space. And they did so by telling the entire world the biggest ad won’t be on the big game. Instead, it’s going to be shown on Broadway and to the world. It’s called “Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical.”

Not a huge amount is known about the commercial/stage production. But, considering it is Skittles, who have an awesome track record of creating amazing ads, you can be sure it will be one of the most brilliant things ever created. No doubt there will be a song titled “Taste The Rainbow,” or something like that.
Unfortunately, if you’re hoping to grab tickets for the performance, which is to be held during Super Bowl Sunday at 1 p.m at the New York City’s The Town Hall, they’re already sold out. However, the event can be followed by the official Skittles’ website and their official social media channels as well.
Other than this being an awesome publicity stunt. The event is raising funds for a good cause as well. Proceeds from the tickets are to be matched and then donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
