With a number of great bakeries scattered across the Portland area, Creo Chocolate stands above the rest, especially when it comes to chocolate. Located in the Lloyd District, there is something about this place that fits within Portland’s delightfully weird vibe.

Not only is this a cool chocolate bakery, but Creo Chocolate also provides a nice field trip for those interested in how chocolate is made, and it’s a very interesting process, indeed. Creo has a chocolate factory on site, meaning that their chocolate is made right on site. That’s a great asset for those looking for authentic chocolate to enjoy on Chocolate Cake Day.

Unique on this list, Creo Chocolate is a bakery that doesn’t sell cake, however, this place is famous for their homemade chocolate bars, which will rival anything sold at the corner store. In addition to their chocolate bars, Creo also sells chocolate balls and other products that will surely cure that sweet tooth.

There are plenty of places to go to indulge in chocolate on Chocolate Cake Day, but few in Portland can rival the magic of Creos.
