MOSHAV MENUKHA, ISRAEL – FEBRUARY 7: A worker sorts fresh-picked roses in a packing-house February 7, 2007 at Moshav Menukha in southern Israel. Within 24 hours of being picked, these long-stemmed roses will have been sorted by variety, quality and size, packed and air-freighted to European buyers. The Israeli Flower Growers Association announced that an air train of cargo jets is delivering over 100 million flowers and greenery stems, weighing more than 5,000 tons, to Europe for St. Valentine?s Day. A rise of 50% in the prices of flowers, compared to last year’s prices, has been noted in Europe due to the hard winter experienced recently. (Photo by David Silverman/Getty Images)

14. Bar Louie

The motto of Bar Louie is “Eat, Drink, and Be Happy,” and I could not agree more, especially for Valentine’s date night.

Now over 133 locations strong, Bar Louie is a mix breed of restaurant and cool bar, and the concept does a great job of not making one overpower the other. The end result to a night at Bar Louie is being “sauced” and wanting to do some extracurricular activities with your loved one.

Which, I believe, should be the cherry on the sundae to a good Valentine’s date night. Hey, it’s better than going to bed mad at each other because the date wound up at Micky D’s.

Where was I?

Oh, yea, Bar Louie.

So, Bar Louie was founded in 1990, and, much like Applebee’s, the chain built itself as a neighborhood bar hangout, with the one exception that Bar Louie features over 20 taps and drinks that you won’t find at any other casual food spot. In fact, Bar Louie may be an underrated spot for couples looking for some fun times on the day of love.

Bar Louie is everywhere, and it will provide a fun night for your love to just let loose and have fun, and that is what this chain excels in. The atmosphere may differ from one Bar Louie’s to the next, but the end goal is still the same, and that is to provide a great time and good memories for Valentine’s couples everywhere.

It may not be traditional, but sometimes, being “traditional” is boring. So, put a little fun in your relationship and spend Valentine’s Day at Bar Louie.
