10. Joe’s Crab Shack
If you’re fortunate to live in an area that has a Joe’s Crab Shack, there is no reason why you should be visiting any other seafood chain.
I know that’s a pretty bold statement, but Joe’s Crab Shack is truly that food, and the atmosphere, though a bit kitschy, is perfect to have a great Valentine’s date night. Besides, who can honestly resist having that one couple photo of you two wearing bibs?
I rest my case.
The first Joe’s Crab Shack opened in Houston, Texas, and from that original location, Joe’s spread like wildfire, landing in numerous cities, and bringing their brand of good food to all those who were willing to take it on. Though it went through a little bit of a rough patch a couple of years ago (it had to close 40 restaurants), it has since revived itself and is growing again.
It’s actually great that Joe’s is growing once more. This is a concept that should not be kicked down and dragged through the mud. There aren’t many seafood chains with the funky frameworks and atmosphere like Joe’s, and a concept like this shouldn’t die, it should be celebrated.
Though the chain specializes in seafood, you can find another food coupled with their famous seafood. To wash all of that goodness down, Joe’s has a number of great cocktails and margaritas on hand; and, if you’re a beer person, Joe’s will hook you up in that department as well.
In short, Joe’s knows Valentine’s date nights.
