A winery and a restaurant all-in-one?

Where can couples sign up?

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is a young chain by restaurant standards, beginning its life ion 2005 in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park. The man many folks have to thank for bringing this concept to the mainstream is Tim McEnery, who was restaurant manager before a light bulb went off in his head:

“Why don’t I create a chain of restaurants with wineries?”

OK, we don’t know if that’s exactly what happened, but, what we do know is that McEnery created Cooper’s Hawk at a time when this type of restaurant was a rarity on the restaurant landscape.

The concept took off, and today, Cooper’s Hawk has over 31 locations in the Midwest and Southeast, which means that Valentine’s Day couples in these two areas of America can enjoy some good food and some fine wine, without having to go to two separate locations to enjoy them.

That’s the beauty of Cooper’s Hawk, who has been able to carve a niche in the fine dining world with its original concept and has created a beefy of memories for many couples seeking a beautiful Valentine’s Day date with their boo. When the chain first opened, there weren’t a lot of restaurant/wine bars.

Now, thanks to Cooper’s Hawk, the concept has taken off. You can’t go to any big city in America and not find a restaurant that also has a great wine bar attached to it as well. Cooper’s Hawk isn’t your normal wine bar either, no. Their wines are all their own, and that’s what makes it so unique and such a treasure.
