18. TGI Fridays

Ah, there is nothing like TGI Fridays to have a little fun on your Valentine’s Day night.

We are talking about the most romantic restaurants in America to have a great evening with your loved one, but when we talk about “romantic restaurants,” per se, it doesn’t always have to be a candlelit atmosphere.

Sometimes, all you need is good food, good drinks, and a fun time with your love, and TGI Fridays provide all of those attributes in spades. Before TGI Fridays rose to prominence, it was seen as a stepbrother to Applebee’s, the dominant causal chain and what Fridays modeled its business after.

Not only did Fridays perfected the causal chain perfection Applebee’s once had, but it made it better, bringing in trivia games and such to make it a truly fun atmosphere to dine and have a good time.

That, in essence, makes Fridays a perfect spot for Valentine’s Day.

Maybe your love doesn’t want to have a candlelit dinner within a dark, cozy atmosphere. Maybe, just maybe, your boo just wanna have a great time, and one can’t really go wrong with Fridays in that aspect, especially if Valentine’s date involves friends.

Oh, then it’s on.

TGI Fridays are one of those rare places where both the couple and the friends who are tagging along can have a great time, without feeling like you’re the third wheel. The super fun atmosphere of a Fridays is one that really can’t be replicated anywhere else. Except, of course, your local bar.
