Target has the best after-Valentine’s Day chocolate and candy sales
By Sandy C.
Valentine’s Day has come and gone. What’s next on the list? Bargain shopping, of course, and there’s no better place than Target.
After-holiday shopping is one of my favorite things to do, be it Halloween, Christmas, or St. Patrick’s day. From candy, decorations, and everything in between, there’s no better time to buy just about anything on sale than the day after the holiday. And if you’re a fan of chocolates, February 15 is your time to shine (and save big)!
If you’re a savvy shopper, you’re probably already aware of the great candy bargains you can get at Target, but we’re here to be your guide.
The best candy sales are front and center at the store. Target wants to get rid of their Valentine’s Day-themed candy as soon as possible. So even though the discount sales aren’t that great on February 15 (sales range from 15% to 30% on day one), if you want to get the best of the best and biggest brands, you’ll have to shop for them on this day.

Want a bigger candy discount? You’ll have to wait for day two (February 16) or day three (February 17). The longer you wait, the bigger the sale, but also the higher chances of the best candies running out. My best advice is not to wait past day 5 (February 19), or when you stop by Target you’ll only find the leftover candy and chocolates nobody else wants.
Don’t forget! Buy candy only if you plan on eating it and not storing it for next year! Even if store in a cool and dry place, chocolates and candy shouldn’t be consumed after 10 months.
