What will the celebrities be eating at the Oscars? Here’s a sneak peek at the fancy menu!
The Oscars is one big party! With many different tastebuds, dietary requirements, and more, feeding a party this size is something that needs a lot of preparation — and an expert chef! Will they steal President Trump’s idea and simply order burgers and pizza? Of course not, the Academy Awards are too classy for that.
Instead, according to Insider, 45 Park Lane’s Executive Chef David McIntyre has the scoop on what celebrities will be enjoying tonight.
First of all, it turns out celebrities do not eat while the ceremony is taking place. They are all instead invited to the official Oscars after party, the Governors Ball. Fancy!

According to the source, Chef Wolfgang Puck is catering the 2019 Oscars for the 25th year running. The menu this year includes over 30 dishes, some of the options are:
- Black truffle chicken pot pies (which the source shares are Adele and Barbara Streisand’s favorite)
- Chocolate Oscar statues decorated with real gold dust
- Miyazaki wagyu steak
- Chinese chicken salad
- Smoked salmon pizza with creme fraiche and caviar
- Crème fraiche soufflé pancakes
And that, is only a few of the dozens of dishes. Consider us very jealous, and hungry! Can we at least have a chocolate Oscars statue?
