10. Doctor Who
Fish fingers and custard, anyone? You could eat your fill of the doctor’s favorite snack at Doctor Who TV-themed restaurants. The other obvious thing the restaurant would need would be the classic Tardis with blue walls and telephone box windows painted inside the dining room if the outside of the restaurant wasn’t shaped like one to begin with. Additionally, the utensils could look like sonic screwdrivers, there might be a Dalek or two, and of course, there would have to be a hall of fame with a picture of each Doctor over the years.
Besides the classic iconic Doctor Who snacks and drinks, Doctor Who TV-themed restaurants would need a whole menu of food and what better way to celebrate the Doctor than by having a menu full of foods from the place the show originated.
Fish and chips (obviously), bangers and mash, Shepherd’s pie, an assortment of savory pies, Yorkshire pudding, lamb stew, etc. could all be included along with Doctor Who classics like jammie dodgers, packs of jelly babies for the ride home, banana daiquiris, and of course, any and all, Tardis-shaped sweets.
Going back to the decor, there could be televisions placed in different spots around the restaurant playing iconic episodes, as well as iconic items snuck into the decor. The fez, the bow tie (for the 11th Doctor), waiters could wear different Doctor’s signature outfits, and there could be plenty other robots besides just Dalek, like K-9 and the Clockwork androids.
The restaurant would definitely have to have a sci-fi vibe to it otherwise, it wouldn’t feel faithful to the show.
