NEW YORK, NEW YORK – NOVEMBER 11: (L-R) Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Millie Bobby Brown, Priah Ferguson, Carmen Cuba, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton attend the New York Screening of “Stranger Things” Season 3 at DGA Theater on November 11, 2019 in New York City. (Photo by Daniel Zuchnik/Getty Images) /

5. Stranger Things

Ok, first and foremost…there has to be waffles. That’s pretty much a given. Waffles morning, noon, or night. But besides that, the decor, food, and show tie-ins could be just about anything. To give the fans the most bang for their buck, it would probably need to be decorated like the Upside-Down but maybe less…gross?

People are eating; they don’t want to see flem, or ectoplasm on the walls, or see the body of poor Barb (RIP Barb, you died too soon) wrapped in a bunch of vines.

But the darkness and the red glow that seems to scream Stranger Things would definitely give the place a cool vibe. And a semi-huge demogorgan in the middle of the dining room would probably be pretty cool as well. Fans could take pictures with it. Joyce’s Christmas lights wouldn’t be a bad idea either. They could help with lighting and be a cool callback.

In terms of food, to satisfy both adult and younger fans, there could be things kids love that have been made slightly upscale. Hamburgers, chicken fingers, pasta, and grilled cheese but with a little more refinement than what you might expect (not that there’s anything wrong with a regular grilled cheese!).

And they would have to have names associated with the show (Hopper’s hamburgers, Eleven’s mind-bending-ly good waffles, etc.)

The restaurant could also have special nights where they hold D&D tournaments. Since that is what the show revolves around and something the main characters enjoy, it’d be a great way to have fans interacting together. They’d be able to enjoy the restaurant and make some new friends.
