2. Hamburger Heaven — West Palm Beach

I have always had a philosophy when it comes to restaurants, and it’s a simple one. The philosophy goes that the best restaurants are always on the roads less-traveled.

That comes from experience, having grown up in a not-so-great neighborhood surrounded by great hole-in-the-wall eateries. So, when you go to West Palm Beach, and you’re in search of a great burger, go off the beaten path and make a beeline for Hamburger Heaven. One of the truly great best burger restaurants in South Florida.

From the outside, there’s nothing special about the place. It’s located just west of downtown West Palm Beach in a neighborhood that is kind of sketchy. However, the outside surroundings don’t tell the story of what goes on inside, and when you walk through the door, you will find a place that lives up to its name.

The burgers sold here are simple, but within that simplicity lies a taste that is bursting with flavor. The burgers at Hamburger Heaven are seasoned to perfection and are cooked ready to order, just how I, and many others, love it.

Hamburger Heaven is your classic hamburger stand. This classic hole-in-the-wall has been a staple on Tamarind Avenue for over 22 years, and when you sink your teeth into one of their burgers, you will become a Hamburger Heaven fan, just like the rest of us.
