Starbucks hinting at possible drink collaboration with Ariana Grande

Starbucks may want you to break up with your usual drink this week as they hint at a possible collaboration with Ariana Grande.

When it comes to collaborations between celebs and different companies, the last thing we would have thought of was Starbucks collaborating with Ariana Grande. And while we don’t have any clue what this possible team up might involve, we are definitely excited to find out what is in the works.

How do we know there is a collaboration in the works? The answer is a series of tweets that gave us a few clues thanks to messages hidden in clouds. That’s right, Starbucks gifted us with cloud tweets filled with hidden messages.

One of the clouds has the message, “thank you, next,” while another says, “tomorrow you’ll be smiling real smiles.” And when the company shared a tweet with emojis, a Twitter user seemed to have it all figured out as they responded with, “omg starbucks & ari collab” according to Delish. Of course the company couldn’t leave it at that, as they replied with lyrics from Grande’s song, “No Tears Left To Cry.”

What does all of this mean? Well, really we have no clue at this point. What we can figure out is that something big is about to happen for all of us Starbucks lovers who also love Ariana Grande. And that is definitely something we are here for!

And if you think this was just the coffee chain having some fun, we did too until we saw Grande’s own tweets, and even an Instagram story, with a screenshot of the tweet set over a background of clouds. In her own tweet, the singer gave us more emojis before tagging Starbucks and then adding the date, “3/5.”

Even on Instagram our favorite coffee chain was being unusually cryptic, which is either a sign of something amazing or we really have fallen out of touch with our latte distributor of choice. Either way, we are excited for whatever Starbucks has in store for us, especially if it means a collaboration with Ariana Grande.

I mean maybe it is us, but all of the Instagram posts had us thinking of those ASMR videos and while we could totally see that being a thing Starbucks would offer, we really think this is something else based on the coffee emojis used. Honestly, we can’t wait for March 5, as we think this might just be the ultimate collaboration.
