National Cereal Day is the time when we come together to celebrate all-things cereal, but these five brands are the worst cereals of all time.

One may not think too much about National Cereal Day, or the worst cereals of all time, but it is an important holiday in the food world. It is the day when we humans from around the world, come together to celebrate the beloved breakfast staple.

No matter what color, gender, sex, or religious creed you come from, all of us have fond memories of the Saturday mornings when we would wake up early, pour a bowl full of our favorite cereal, and plop down on the couch watching Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, Honey Nut Cheerios. Those three, and others, have become ingrained in our foodie society. However, there have been some cereal brands so horrific, that it’s brought shame to the cereal world. Which is why, as a food writer, it’s my duty to warn you about the five worst cereals of all time.
