3. Captain Marvel Almond Sugar Cookies

Sugar cookies are great. They’re cute and fun and taste great on their own, or with a hot beverage. Add a superhero touch to it, and you’ve got yourself an unmissable treat.

This lovely recipe comes courtesy of baker Jazmin, writing for Sweet Cookie Journey, and it’s more than just a gorgeous-looking sugar cookie, it’s a super delicious one too.

You have the option to make your cookies whichever shape you like, but we quite like the circular shape and how well it showcases Captain Marvel’s logo. The cookie recipe is fairly simple to make, but the magic ingredient here is almond extract. Who doesn’t love an almond cookie?

Where you’re going to have to be dexterous is in the icing. Jazmin uses regular baking tools to simplify the job, but you will still need to keep your hands quite steady to get things right. However, as Jazmin adds, it doesn’t need to be perfect.

The pièce de résistance of this cookie—and the reason we love the look of it so much—is the addition of gold dust on the insignia. Jazmin leaves it up to you to decide whether you want to use it or not, but you have to admit, that gold dust elevates this beautiful cookie to another level. Not to mention that it’s pretty accurate. Captain Marvel’s suit definitely shines when she’s at full power, just like you will when you bite into this cookie.
