Celebrate the first day of spring with free ice cream at Dairy Queen
By Sandy C.
Wednesday, March 20, is the official first day of spring! Welcome the warmer weather and growing green grass and pretty flowers with a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen!
St. Patrick’s Day is over, and while March Madness is still going on, there’s another event happening this week we shouldn’t overlook — the first day of spring! The date changes each year, and in 2019, the first day of spring falls on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
To help you stay cool in the warmer weather, and to celebrate the end of winter, Dairy Queen is giving its guests a free ice cream cone! This is one deal you can’t afford to miss, I mean, it’s free, after all! Visit Dairy Queen online to find a location near you.
What do you get, exactly? Here are all the details you need to know before you rush over to your nearest Dairy Queen…
This freebie is good for one free small vanilla cone at participating Dairy Queen locations. This, unfortunately, does not include any Dairy Queens located inside a shopping center or mall. Additionally, the deal limits one free cone per person. So plan your disguises accordingly. Just kidding!
Dairy Queen is also still carrying its Blizzard of the Month, which, this month, is a minty green blizzard with cookie bits. Not into the blizzards from DQ? Try the mint shake! It’s got the minty refreshing taste you need without the cookies (who wouldn’t want the cookies, though?).
Finally, if you happen to miss out on this deal or simply can’t wait for the next day you can get free ice cream, you won’t have to wait for long! On April 9, it’s Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry‘s! It looks like our spring is already off to a great start.
Will you be going to Dairy Queen on March 20 for a free ice cream cone?
