Starbucks is expanding its line of non-dairy products to include bottled Frappuccinos, which are made with almond milk instead of cow’s milk.
Products made with nut milk have become increasingly popular in the past few years. Especially with trends like the modern keto diet, which encourages the consumption of high-fat foods in place of most carbohydrates.
It’s not the worst thing in the world for people who can’t or prefer not to consume dairy. Now, Starbucks lovers have even more options to choose from.

Dairy-free drinkers, rejoice! You can now enjoy a Starbucks Frappuccino in a variety of flavors made without traditional milk.
Traditionally, a bottled Frappuccino is a mixture of coffee, milk, and sugar. Even when it’s reduced fat, milk provides the attractive richness Frappuccinos are best known for.
It’s possible that a Frappuccino made with almond milk feels and tastes just as good — and it’s probably better for you, too. Almond milk contains a slightly healthier variety of fat and is lower in carbs.
Those looking to eat (and drink) healthier often turn to nut milks not just because they are technically vegan, but because they might be better for you in large quantities.
An added bonus to choosing an almond milk Frappuccino: These drinks reportedly contain 40% fewer calories than their made-with-dairy versions. So even if you aren’t completely dairy-free, you might still consider an almond milk Frappuccino to save on a few calories.

At first, bottled almond milk Frappuccino drinks will only be available in traditional vanilla and mocha flavors. But it’s possible that if the products sell well enough, more flavors will be offered in the future.
Unlike many new varieties of customer favorite products often only available for a limited time in select areas, it looks like almond milk Frappuccino drinks will be available wherever these drinks are normally sold.
So head out to your local grocery chain or Starbucks store and give these new drinks a try. You might like them even better than the original!
