Ohio bar is now serving tampon-themed drink

An Ohio bar has come up with a clever new tampon-themed drink, and the internet has gone crazy.

A bar in Ohio came up with the idea of putting a tampon inside a new drink. This is real life, y’ all. We can’t make this stuff up!

Sitting in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood, Yuzu has a distinct reputation for creating zany new drinks, but this one may be the zaniest of them all. Called “Even Can’t Literally,” the new drink is a berry margarita that is served with a tampon applicator as garnish. Yes, you read that correctly.

Ever since Yuau released the new drink upon the world on May 2, it’s received quite a lot of feedback on social media:

I think the aliens have always been here, they’re just letting their freak flag fly now. So what does the bar have to say about the criticism? According to the bar’s Facebook page, there’s actually a good cause behind it. For everyone who braves the first look, Yuzu will donate a dollar from each purchase to a donation fund that will go to a Cleveland area shelter.

That’s a good cause, but the bar could have also done this:

Listen, I’m all for bars inventing crazy new drinks for the public, and I am one of those crazy folks who will try basically anything. However, I don’t know what to feel about drinking something with a tampon applicator in it.

I have so many questions. Did they clean it or where did they collect them from? So many questions that need to be answered before I try the tampon drink.
